SEAD in Summer

Die nächsten Veranstaltungen im SEAD - Friday Showings usw. - finden mit Beginn des neuen Schuljahres im Herbst statt. Nähere Informationen dazu ab Anfang September online.

In der unterrichtsfreien Zeit arbeiten dieses Jahr drei Artists in Residence im SEAD an ihren aktuellen Stücken: Franceso Scavetta, Gründer der renommierten WEE Company, Sergio Mendes, Gewinner der Online Video Dance Competition Move against it, und Collectifpops, ein Künstlerkollektiv bestehend aus ehemaligen SEAD-StudentInnen.

Residency "Move against it"

"Move against it", the first online video dance competition, is over. The winner, Sérgio Mendes is invited to SEAD for a 6 weeks residency from the beginning of August to mid September.

Together with Kajsa Bohlin and Thomas Magnus he will work on his new piece that will be presented at Tanz_House Festival on October 16th.

Workshop with Artist in Residence Francesco Scavetta!

The class concentrates on centring and gravity. The goals are to let the movement pass freely and activating the centre as an engine of the movement. By harmonising the movement with our breathing, we will, more easily, release contractions in the joints and in the limbs, allowing the sense of gravity to be a constant part of our awareness.
