Mark Lorimer, dancer, choreographer and teacher, has a varied background and is mostly known for his work as a dancer with ZOO / Thomas Hauert and Rosas / Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker in Belgium, and is also working as a rehearsal director for Rosas. Mark has an unearthly ability to transform movement with delicacy and precision in order to express his ideas powerfully. He is a strong new voice on the contemporary dance scene and we are lucky to have Mark with us to choreograph for the five members of BODHI PROJECT. 
Mark Lorimer has created a piece for BODHI PROJECT that oscillates between folk dance, Cunningham-esque chorus lines and an inside-out tango. The principle of Darwin’s Gypsy Dance was to take basic movement, and apply simple procedures with multiple outcomes.The result is an atypical social dance which finishes somewhere in a future post-apocalypse nirvana.
