30 years SEAD

30 years of SEAD – A review

From May 12 to 14, 2023, SEAD celebrated its 30th anniversary with the festival “dance is a wild flower.” Three days full of dance, encounters, and memories: On Friday, we opened our doors for exclusive insights into rehearsals and rooms. On Saturday, Olivier Dubois’ collection rocked the SZENE Salzburg. And on Sunday, the premiere of the JUKSTA Company, a video by Albert Vidal, the book presentation by Birke Van Maartens, and a glittering party rounded off the festival on an emotional note.

SEAD and Susan Quinn would like to thank everyone who celebrated, reminisced, laughed, and cried with us. What once began as a small project in Salzburg is now an integral part of the international dance scene—and has touched the lives of many people.
