SEAD

SEAD will give students a chance to experience SEAD in a one-week workshop that gives the participants a taste of what daily life is like in our program. MoveMentors Dance Intensive workshops offer daily morning classes in somatic practice, contemporary and ballet techniques. Followed by an afternoon creative practice taught by SEAD's guest faculty Konstandina Efthimiadou and Isaac Spencer.

MoveMentors Dance Intensive is highly recommended as a preparation for those who want to apply for SEAD’s Auditions 2021/2022.

SEAD is holding auditions for entrance into the four year undergraduate professional dance education program and the postgraduate program I.C.E. – Choreographer´s Year. Candidates who pass the first round successfully are invited to the second round audition in Salzburg where the best dancers are chosen for a study at SEAD.

Seit 1995 gehört das jährliche Festival Symphonic Dance zu den Veranstaltungshighlights des SEAD Jahres. Die Studierenden des dritten Ausbildungsjahres (Defining Year) erarbeiten in diesem Rahmen zeitgenössische Stücke mit den renommierten Choreograf*innen Hillel Kogan und Milla Koistinen und präsentieren im SEAD.

Under Our Voice is a part of a performance series exploring celebratory joy, ecstasy and the individual within a crowd. In this standstill of communal celebrations, we look for togetherness and moments of euphoria triggered by one another.

Covid19-Information zum Download

Ähnlich wie die Friday Showings bilden die Choreography Major Showings (CM1 und CM2) regelmäßig eine Bühne für Studierende, die sich ab ihrem dritten Ausbildungsjahr auf Choreografie spezialisieren. Die Zuseher*innen haben an diesen Abenden Gelegenheit, Experimentelles und Works in Progress von jungen Künstler*innen zu erleben.
