Friday Showings werden seit 2002 regelmäßig im Haus veranstaltet. Es dient den jungen SEAD Studierenden als öffentliche Präsentationsfläche für ihre eigenen Arbeiten. Die Zuseher haben an diesen Abenden Gelegenheit ausgewählte Solos und Gruppenstücke von jungen Künstler*innen zu erleben.

Tonky Lonky by Reut Shemesh
Basierend auf Found Footage-Interviews kreiert Reut Shemesh eine Collage rund um die Themen Familienbeziehungen, menschliche Kommunikation und künstliche Intelligenz. Sie inszeniert die Interviews mittels Gesang und Lippensynchronisation und verwandelt sie in rhythmische Muster und Bewegungen. Das Stück offenbart die menschliche Zerbrechlichkeit und Ohnmacht angesichts von Katastrophen und den Kontrollverlust der Natur gegenüber.

Join the SEAD family! We are looking for talented dancers from all over the world! SEAD is holding auditions for entrance into the four year undergraduate professional dance education program, the FIRE Year and the postgraduate program I.C.E. – Choreographer´s Year. Candidates who pass the first round successfully are invited to the second round audition 23. – 27.5.2022 in Salzburg where the best dancers are chosen for a study at SEAD.
Deadline for application: applications for the 1st ROUND should be received no later than two weeks before the 1st ROUND audition date of your choice.
